Commonwealth Bank were launching ‘Everyday Settlement’, a new product offering to its business customers. For the first time in Australia, businesses would receive the money they made from credit card sales the same day that the sale was made.

Being first to market with such a product, CommBank naturally wanted to demonstrate how slow the other banks were. Our idea was the Everyday Settlement Challenge whereby a CBA employee would challenge a competitor bank to a race. The catch was we would take the slowest mode of transport possible.
